Wow! It has been a almost three months since I have posted on my blog!

I'm sorry!

It has been crazy trying to get things going for my business. I now have a web site address http://www.jackandjillphotography.org/ and an online store http://jackandjillphotography.zenfolio.com/ . It takes a lot of time, more then I ever realized, to get a professional photography business running smoothly. I still have a ton to learn but I feel like I get better and better all the time in every angle of this business. I spend hours online learning from other photographers along with informational websites.

Thank you to everyone for your support while I pursue my passion to be a Professional Photographer!

Nice Guys

It was exciting for my son, Kekoa, and I to go and meet LaGarrette Blount and Ed Dickson at the signing Legends at Clackamas Town Center had today. I take pictures from our seats in Autzen every game and it was great to have them sign a photo that I took. Even better that they liked the photo. I was lucky enough to see them both play football for Oregon and I am happy to say they are by far a couple of the nicest guys I have met. They were so great about taking pictures with my 6 year old along with many others in the long line. I too had to get a photo with them.

Thank you LaGerrette Blount and Ed Dickson for taking the time for my son and I today. Good luck in the NFL! We will be watching for you!

My Little Girl

I can't believe its been over a year since Bella came to live with us. She was an untrained wild monster when we got her home but now she has become a my well mannered little girl. I never knew I would become this attached to such an ugly little thing, but now I get what people love about pugs.

My Photo

Some of you might know that I, along with my family, are big time Oregon Duck Football fans. My husband and I have season tickets and great group of friends that we sit with. I always have my camera when we go to the games. Not only do I photograph our friends at our tailgates I always try to get good sports photographs while watching the game.

Our friend Adam Sparks, who sits with us, asked me for any photos he might be able to use for a web page (wiredoregon.com) sports article he was doing. I gave him a few I thought he might like. I am excited to see he used my photo on his great football article.

I think I am a good photographer, but it is rewarding seeing others think I'm good too.

More of the Mowry Boys

Its so much fun to see how much children grow and develop. Jax and Conner are now laughing and smiling. I have the joy of photographing these two every month for their first year of life. I can't wait to see what the upcoming months bring.
Craig and Cricket, your going to have your hands full... the ladies will be knocking down the doors for these two in about 18 years!

New Parents

Josh and Carlyn are the proud new parents to baby Jacek. Congratulations, your new addition is a precious gift.

A gift for mom.

We had a great day for portraits. Kyle and Kasey were good sports as I kept telling them "smile, your mom wants to see you smile!" And she did. She loved the photo book we made for her and the best part is theres more to come. The whole family will be doing a photo shoot.
